The PPC-R22.1N-N-G2-NN-NN-FW is a stand-alone multi-axis motion and logic control. It has the RECO unit housing design for motion controls, PLCs, and I/O module. The Rexroth IndraDrive recommends using the motion logic control with Diax 04 and EcoDrive 03 digital servo drives. The communication between the PPC-R22 control and digital servo drive is performed by using the SERCOS interface with international standards for drives. The PPC-R22.1N-N-G2-NN-NN-FW visual motion control system has the three expansion slots with an optional onboard EtherNet connection, Reco 02 I/O module i.e. local and SERCOS, Inline I/O module, Diax 04 and EcoDrive 03 I/O module, Diax 04 and EcoDrive 03 I/O modules, visual motion toolkit (VMT) software program for motion control programming, system diagnostics and motion control management.

The PPC-R22.1N-N-G2-NN-NN-FW has DDE and OPC servers’ communication via SCP and SIS protocol between control and window programs. This motion control allows the connection of up to 40 intelligent digital drives to one control over SERCOS and has the HMI interfaces(BTC06, BTV04, BTV05, BTV06). The PPC-R22.1N-N-G2-NN-NN-FW has the optional interface support that comprises Fieldbus slave interfaces contain Profibus-DP, Interbus, DeviceNet, ControlNet, and EtherNet/IP. It comes with the optional Fieldbus master interface. The logic control has the option card programmable limit switch, link ring for master/slave interfacing of visual motion control, and master encoder card.

The PPC-R22.1N-N-G2-NN-NN-FW logical motion controller has the housing design for the RECO unit in line 22. It is not equipped with the memory expansion module and has a single Rexroth basic design. The logical system has no further configuration as it comes with the basic setting with the firmware software for operation. The firmware modified software can be ordered separately as sub position.
