The PPC series SERCOS based digital controllers by Bosch Rexroth Indramat have been manufactured with a reliable and robust communication system between the various drives produced by them, as well as by other manufacturers. These are highly compact size controllers based on RECO module and carry out the function of analyzing the various internal communication signals and synchronizing the intra-drive functionality.

As the name indicates, the PPC-R01.2N-N-P2-FW controller has been designed in series 1 version 2 of the PPC-R controllers. This controller offers a reliable real-time intra-communication system, and helps in monitoring and acting upon the flow of digital signals among the various components, providing a total motion control solution. The Memory Expansion Module in this controller is not included in the basic module. Standard with the PPC-R01 group of connectors, the interface is based on COM port and is accessed via a separate slot on the socket plate, except when it has been assigned to any other purpose.

The PPC-R01.2N-N-P2-FW controller belongs to series 1 version 2 types of digital controllers and has factory assigned values for its firmware and configuration modes. They are very compact in size, which makes them a favored choice for environments where space is a restricting factor. The PPC-R01.2N-N-P2-FW controller’s also come in two separate versions as far as their width is concerned. These are the single-width and double-width versions. The controller interfaces are entirely connected, and they function in accordance with the Indramat design of P1 type of Indramat Interface. The choice of its data transfer function is chosen automatically by the relevant application by setting the initial parameters at the time of installation.
