The MSK100D-0200-NN-M1-BP2-NNNN synchronous servomotor can be operated in explosive areas. The Bosch Rexroth motor has an optical encoder system along with a holding brake and a keyway output shaft. The product can cause property damage and/or personnel injury if it has been handled improperly. The device handling must be done only after reading the associated safety and usage notes and instructions. The unit can be used in Zone 2 and Zone 22 related atmospheres. It can be put into operation only with the same manufacturer’s drive controller. The motor has 100 size code. The product may require the connection of extra sensors and actuators for controlling and monitoring it.

This device has to be used only for applications explicitly released by the manufacturer. The unit installation can be done only in a machine that complies with the limit values specified in the national regulations. It must neither be disconnected nor opened in a pressurized state. The motor incorporates protective covers and/or sleeves on its shaft and connectors. The product has a high temperature for its housing during and soon after operation. The device can cause the connected drive controller to show signs of dangerous movements if the motor has malfunctioning encoders and sensors.

The product encompasses a 70Nm holding brake. This holding brake is controlled by the drive controller. This motor adheres to Class 3K4 climatic environmental conditions as per DIN EN 60721-3-3 specifications. The unit is designed to be made to function between 0°C and 40°C. It supports a maximum allowed axial shock load of 100m/s². The motor has IP 65 protection rating for its output shaft and housing. The product allows installation in IM B5, IM V1 and IM V3 orientations. The device utilization should be carried out only after doing a compatibility test between the motor housing and lubricants or cleaners.
