The MKD112B-048-GP0-AN AC synchronous motor is from the MKD series that has common features like the brushless design, lightweight housing, and flange designed with threaded through holes, etc. There are also small differences as seen in its nomenclature, to make it suit the user's needs. This motor is classified under the category classification of size112 which has the motor length B designed for 28.0 Nm. This Size 48 motor has a rated speed of 2,800 RPM and can achieve the impressive maximum speed of 4500 rpm. There is a normal shaft with key per DIN 6885-1 that has end-sealing rings to ensure that there is no ingress of sprays, liquids or fumes, which makes the motor work contagiously without any breakages. There is no holding brake in this motor.

The housing of MKD112B-048-GP0-AN is specially designed to prevent overheating by ensuring rapid heat dissipation from the shaft and along the surface by normal convection. The output power connection is located on the side A of its housing, which makes its handling very easy. The motor also has a motor feedback encoder system by the way of integrated resolver for regularly monitoring its functions and appropriately regulating the signals to its drive controller which helps it precisely measure the rotor position to ensure its efficient functioning.
