There are many applications for which the MDD servo motors are best suited. These include textile machines, robotics, and food processing and packaging machines. They are powerful units that ensure high contouring accuracies at high feedrates.

The MDD090B-N-020-N2M-110GB0 is one of the high-performance synchronous servo motors in the MDD series by Bosch Rexroth. Its nominal speed is 2,000 revolutions per minute, while its maximum permissible current is 48.6A. For heat elimination, it utilizes natural convection and surface cooling; hence, it can accommodate extreme loads. The motor’s feedback system is digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder. This encoder type detects its absolute indirect position and has a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes. It also has a data memory where important information like the motor type name and control loop parameters are filed. As a result, its startup is accelerated, and it can adjust to its drive controller without the risk of damage.

Covered with a black prime coat, the MDD090B-N-020-N2M-110GB0 is resistant to chalky buildups, weathering, yellowing, dilute acids, and lyes. It can be installed in any position and supports a variety of ready-made cables to eliminate additional installation work. The output shaft in the MDD model is the plain type for providing a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash.
