The Bosch Rexroth MDD071B-N-040-N2T-095PA1 is an AC motor. The technical motor data provided in the product documentation are valid for 0 to 45 degrees Celsius ambient temperature and 0 to 1000 meters altitude. If the ambient conditions deviate from these values, then the motor output data will decrease i.e. derate. The motor output derates linearly between 45 and 55 degrees Celsius, and reaches a maximum of 20% at 55 degrees Celsius. The motor output derates non-linearly between 1000 and 5000 meters altitude, and reaches a maximum value of 35% at 5000 meters. If higher temperatures and altitudes occur simultaneously then the respective load factors will be multiplied. The motor is supplied in an IP65 rated housing that provides protection against contact with high-voltage motor parts. The housing also provides protection against penetration of extrinsic objects and water penetration.
