Digital AC servo motors such as those in the MDD series form highly functional rapid-response automation systems when combined with digital drive controllers from Indramat. These permanent magnet-excited servo motors ensure high contouring accuracies at high speed rates, among other things. Typically, they are used in handling equipment, machine tools, robotics, food packaging machines, and textile machines.

The MDD065D-N-040-N2M-095GB1 is a servo motor in the MDD series by Bosch Rexroth. It has a plain output shaft with a shaft sealing ring to provide a non-positive shaft hub connection with zero backlash. Its sealing ring prevents potentially harmful fluids from penetrating the motor through the shaft. The motor also has a thermal sensor in its stator winding for monitoring its temperature to prevent irreversible damage by thermal overload. Its cooling methods are natural convection and surface cooling; hence, it supports extreme loads. Since it has electronic commutation, it also has a high overload capacity for continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates.

Installing the MDD065D-N-040-N2M-095GB1 is simplified due to the use of ready-made cables.
