Product Description

The HMS01.1N-W0054-A-07-NNNN power section from Bosch Rexroth is fitted inside an IndraDyn M drive controller. The module does not have its own power supply but can be externally connected to a 24VDC power supply unit. The product must be used only with an HMV or similar DC power supply units. There must be some clearance above and below the device in its mounted position for air circulation and the bottom should have more clearance than the top. The device supports the incorporation of a HAS05 adapter for the DC bus connection. This adapter can function as an RS232/485 converter.

The power section encompasses a HAS02 shield connection. The device must be provided with external branch circuit protection based on the maximum current and voltage values of the supply unit. The unit can be connected to a bus module through the X1 connector using a flat ribbon cable. The control voltage of the module ranges between 0 and 24V. The A1, A2, and A3 terminals feature short circuit protection against one another and the ground. The connection screws have a minimum tightening torque of 1.5Nm and a maximum of 1.8Nm. The connection cable features a minimum cross-sectional area of 1.5mm2 and a maximum of 16mm2.

The A1, A2, and A3 terminals help in establishing power connection to the U1, V1, and W1 terminals respectively at the motor side. The device has a nominal bus voltage rating of 700VDC. It is capable of switching the external 24V supply voltage to the output through an integrated contact element. This transition is done through the X6 connector and helps to have control over the motor holding brake. The module has a power consumption of 10W without the motor brake and control unit.
