The HDS03.2-W100N-HT25-01-FW manufactured by Rexroth Indramat is a Rapid-response HDS drive controller 2nd generation. Powered by  HVE or HVR  Supply Unit, it follows the highest industry standard the international IEC 364-4-411.1.5. This HDS drive controller is designed to control and monitor the electrical motors and their function in a diverse range of applications like material handling machines, automated industrial food processing and packaging machines, textile, and printing machines.

The basic unit of this HDS drive controller accommodates all other parts; a command and communication module which includes SERCOS interface type DSS02.1M, and the HSM software module which comprises the operating software. Moreover, it involves additional plug-in modules like digital interface cards and configuration type plate which records the type descriptions of the controller. The unique part number of the HDS drive controller indicates its Basic Unit and Configuration Number. The Basic unit describes the product group, number of lines used, product version, type of cooling i.e. internal or external, and most important, the rated current. Whereas the Configuration Number specifies the type of command and communication module used, Function ID code, Function ID, and Firmware version.
