The HDS03.2-W100N-HT20-01-FW manufactured by Rexroth Indramat is a second generation of the HDS drive controller family designed to control electrical motors and monitor their operation. It is perfect for various applications like robotics, handling machines, machine tools, textile, printing and packaging machines. This drive controller can be set up with multiple modules to meet your specific configuration needs. The containing modules enable a combination of AC drives that create this compact drive package. It can be powered with both the HVE and HVR supply modules which provide signal and power voltages required for the controller.

Model number of the HDS drive controller consists of two parts: the Basic Unit and Configuration Number. Basic Unit shows its Product Group, Line, Version, Cooling, Rated Current and Other Versions while the Configuration Number indicates Controller Family, Command Communication, Function ID code, Version of Function ID and Firmware. Designed for use in single or multiple-axis drive and control applications, it has a modular construction. Different plug-in modules are outfitted in the basic unit for a required function. This configured drive controller is made up of the basic unit – drive controller, command communications module, software module, additional plug-in modules, and configuration type plate. The configuration type plate identifies the modules the drive controller is equipped with.
