Featured with self-diagnostic capabilities and a modular structure the HDS03.2-W075N-HT76-02-FW is a 2nd Generation Drive Controller from Bosch Rexroth Indramat HDS Series. The base controller utilized in the construction of this controller package is DIAX04 – a versatile drive with electric gear provision. You can configure this drive controller with a variety of motors. The HDS03.2-W075N-HT76-02-FW is widely used in industrial applications where robotics and automation are required.

The base controller incorporated in this device is capable of holding as many as four independent, plug-in modules and 1 x programming module. The base controller comes with slots U1-U4 for plug-in modules. A dedicated Slot (U5) is provided for the addition of a programming module. The modular construction of this motion controller brings unlimited possibilities for the user. Bosch Rexroth is offering a wide range of plug-in modules to be used with the family of DIAX04 controllers. Modules are available for encoder emulation, master communication, I/Os and position measurement systems evaluation. The slot U1 of this drive controller is used for the communications module only. You can operate the serial interface as either RS485 or RS232. This model features a safety mechanism called staring lockout. The start lockout prevents an unintentional startup of the associated motor.
