The Rexroth makes industrial machinery. Rexroth delivers a vast set of technologies such as gearboxes, electric motors, software for automation, logic controllers and hydraulic systems, that may be used for various applications. The HDS03.2-W075N-HS96-01-FW belongs to the Indramat DIAX04 line of servodrives used to control AC motors.  The DIAX04 features two different models of drives: HDD drives, which are able to control two motors and the HDS drives, which can control a single motor. HDS drives are made in modular book format that can be part of a single rack with a shared DC bus. The power supply must be provided by a power supply module (HVR or HVE).

The module could be linked to an external PLC via the integrated SERCOS protocol fieldbus card.

The servodrive power loss should be approximately 11 W, while the system is delivering the motor the allowed RMS current. The environment temperature near the module should be kept in the following range: 32… 131 degrees Fahrenheit if the system is turned on and has to be kept in the range from -22 to 188 degrees Fahrenheit while the system is in storage conditions.

The entire configuration of the HDS03.2-W075N-HS96-01-FW may be loaded on to the drive via a Personal Computer by using the built-in RS-232 or RS-485 socket (the software module of the drive allows easy configuration transfers between drives). This servo-drive offers a base single channel safety Safe-Torque-Off (STO) function that permits the servoamplifier to obtain Performance Level d CAT 3 (EN 13849-1) and SIL 2.
