The HDS02.2-W040N-HS33-01-FW is a digital drive controller belonging to the DIAX04 Drives introduced by Rexroth Indramat Bosch. This is a multi-purpose and dynamic drive controller exhibiting flexibility with a wide range of Rexroth patented motors. The HDS02.2-W040N-HS33-01-FW drive controller features an IP10 housing. The housing features an ample amount of space for the basic drive unit HDS02.2-W040N that consists of four empty slots to connect a command and communication module and three additional modules. Below these slots, there is another slot for attaching HSM type software that contains the firmware and provides storage for drive parameters. The firmware, however, is not included in the package. Then, there is a connecting port that connects with the motor’s feedback unit via a cable. The bottom of the housing features a power supply port for the AC motor. The mandatory command and communication module features a type DSS02.1M SERCOS interface, which is meant for digital drives. The AC motor can be connected to the drive, by means of supply cable and feedback cable.
