The Rexroth Indramat HDS02.2-W040N-HS06-01-FW is a modular drive controller. It is compatible with modular DIAX04 systems which can be used for Indramat motor control applications. The HDS02.2-W040N-HS06-01-FW is a HDS series, line 2, version 2 drive controller with 40 Amps rated current. It includes SERCOS command communication interface. Firmware for the controller needs to be ordered as a separate subposition. The controller function code is 06 and the version of the function code is 01. The HDS02.2-W040N-HS06-01-FW is cooled through convection cooling. A built-in air blower is provided on the controller for facilitation of air flow across the heated parts of the controller. For operation without output derating, Indramat recommends 41 to 113 degrees Fahrenheit operating temperature. Ambient temperature range for controllers which are being transported or are in storage is from -22 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit.

A minimum spacing of 100 millimeters is required below an operating HDS02.2-W040N-HS06-01-FW unit. The spacing may need to be increased to accommodate bend radius of the controller power cable. A minimum spacing of 80 millimeters is required above an operating HDS02.2-W040N-HS06-01-FW. Additionally a minimum 90 millimeter spacing is required in front of an operating controller. The controller should be installed vertically. Dimensions of the HDS02.2-W040N-HS06-01-FW are: 498 millimeters height, 50 millimeters width and 265 millimeters depth. Power to the HDS02.2-W040N-HS06-01-FW can be supplied from either HVR or HVE family power supply units.
