Efficient, high performing and robust – the HCS03.1E-W0070-A-05-LNBV is a drive controller developed by the leaders of the industry. The drive is known to support master-side, as it can save parameter values just by slowly listing the parameter identification numbers which are also known as IDNs. Such lists usually guarantee total storage of the specific application. The customer can also determine the IDN lists.

The device has a robust and modular make. It has non-volatile data memories which are available in the controller and the motor encoder.  Besides this, the volatile data memory, or the working memory as it is called, is easily available in the controller.  The specific controller memory has all the drive firmware loaded. The specific motor encoder memory also stores data according to the specific parameter values.

The two important parts of the drive controller are the control section and the power section. The power section has the control section with different connections. There is a mains voltage connection. There is also a motor connection. In this motor connection there is a motor temperature monitor and holding brake. There is also a 24V control voltage. There is a DC bus connection and a module bus connection.

The PROFIBUS interface is an important part of the device. It is about cyclic data exchange of command and the actual value as well. Parameters play an important role in the functioning of the device. Parameters communication are usually between the master and the driver. Parameters have specific uses which include transmitting command values and actual values. They are also meant for triggering and controlling various drive functions as well as commands.
