Product Description
The DKC drive controller series are a part of the digital intelligent ECODRIVE systems from Rexroth. With applications as a servo-drive controller, these drives offer enhanced servomotor performance with improved precision, feedback, and overall control. The DKC11.3-200-7-FW is a version 3 product and is incorporated in the newer and optimized ECODRIVE03 drive system.
The DKC11.3-200-7-FW has a compact structure, featuring a rectangular design. The versatility of this drive across various operations makes it even more effective in motion automation. As a drive controller, the output current and voltage characteristics are important for considering the coupled servo-motor performance. For this drive, the maximum rated current capacity is 200A; this is also the type current. However, the drive can achieve another type of peak current and two separate continuous currents depending on the switching frequency of the drive. At 4kHz switching frequency, the peak current is 100A and the continuous currents are 85A and 100A for the low and high levels respectively; at 8kHz, it has a peak current of 68A and continuous currents of 48A and 68A.
This allows for regulation of the maximum speed and torque of the attached servo motor, by simply adjusting the switching frequency. The ECODRIVE03 can incorporate multiple DKC drives at once, and this determines the type of mains connection for the implemented system. However, the DKC11.3-200-7-FW can be connected for AC input in either the single phase or the three-phase connection. Either way, the input voltage is specified between 200v and 480v AC. Depending on the exact input voltage, the rated charging current can be between 12A and 28A. The name configuration of this drive implies it is of a category 7 voltage class, and that its firmware module needs to be ordered separately from the manufacturer. This product is available from Wake Industrial with a one-year warranty period.
