The DDS02.1-W150-DS55-00-FW is a new generation industrial controller designed by Rexroth Indramat to accurately control industrial induction and synchronous motors. This drive controller is manufactured by highly trained engineers according to the international quality standards; it meets the IP20 protection class and is specially structured for direct integration into the industrial servo system. Under normal operating conditions, this industrial controller maintains an operational efficiency of about 95 percent; this high operational efficiency makes the controller perfectly suited ti a wide range of industrial machines such as metal forming machines, food processing machines, and lots more. This industrial drive controller also contains special slots labeled U1 to U5; these slots are designed for configuration cards used to adapt specific industrial machines. The configuration cards used with this drive controller include the auxiliary plug-in module, software modules, and the command communication module.

The DDS02.1-W150-DS55-00-FW industrial controller operates with a continuous current of 65 amperes; however, the power circuit of the controller features a high overload capacity and can thus operate with an input current as high as 150 amperes. The nominal DC bus voltage of this industrial drive controller is about 300 volts. The DDS02.1-W150-DS55-00-FW industrial drive controller is not supplied with a firmware module; this should be separately ordered by the industrial operator as a sub-unit.

Although this drive controller does not generate an exceedingly high amount of heat, it features an internal air blower and a heatsink which work together to control the heat generated by the drive controller during operation. To facilitate this temperature regulation process, operators should ensure the controller is installed in a position that exposes it to cool air. Also, the maximum permissible height at which this controller can be installed is about 1000 meters above sea level.
