The DDS02.1-W050-RA02-02-FW model is designed according to the latest automation technology introduced by Rexroth Indramat. The controller provides high functional stability and smooth operation under recommended mounting positions. The DDS02.1 drive controller uses a 24 VDC power supply module to make an electrical connection with the main voltage source and the internal circuit of the controller operates at the continuous current of 50 A. For relative indirect position detection, a resolver interface is placed in this model. The DDS02.1 drive controller is customized to deliver high torque underrated environmental conditions. The basic unit consists of various I/O modules. U1 slot of the DDS controller is equipped with an analog interface along with an absolute encoder emulator that makes it possible to operate the digital intelligent drive controller with conventional controls. Slots from U2 – U4 are empty and no module is installed in them. Slot U5 holds the DSM02.1-FW firmware module and it contains the operational parameters of the drive and the operating software. The slots can be customized as per functional requirements and the firmware module will be ordered accordingly.

The model DDS02.1-W050-RA02-02-FW is engineered to operate under extreme working conditions but due to its IP00 protection category, it must be installed in the secured switchgear cabinet of minimum IP54 protection. To maintain the rated temperature of the controller housing, the controller uses air from inside the control cabinet. The blower connections are available at the bottom of the controller and an RS232 serial interface is also provided in this model. The maximum allowable temperature for DDS02.1-W050-RA02-02-FW is +45 degree Celsius, without derating.
