The drive controller CDB01.1C-ET-EN2-EN2-NNN-MEM-L2-S-NN-FW by Bosch Rexroth Indramat has 2 essential parts, the power section and the control section. These driver controllers are exclusively deployed for monitoring the operation of electrical motors. This Basic Universal Double Axis Control Section by Rexroth Indramat is configurable to accommodate changes as per the requirement. These driver controllers can be used for both single and multi-axis drives and various control tasks. Main applications of these driver controllers include printing and paper processing machines, machine tools handling, diagnosing and maintaining handling and mounting systems etc.

The master communication of the control is of the PROFI net IO version, implying the type of the field bus. The digital inputs are named as Option 1 and Option 2 that are comprised of an encoder of version EnDat 2.1/1Vpp/TTl. While it is not equipped with Option 3 i.e., it includes the memory card and the Option 4 which is the encoder emulator. The control panel is a standard one, which is comprised of a single line display. However, this control panel is not suitable for the hot plug which means that the driver controller must be switched off before plugging or disconnecting the hot plug. The panel has 4 buttons which are used to operate and display the command and error analysis, pending warnings (if any) and the operating state of the drive controller.

In order to prolong the life of the CDB01.1C-ET-EN2-EN2-NNN-MEM-L2-S-NN-FW drive controller, the control section and the power section must not be mounted and dismounted more than 20 times.  Wake Industrial gives a One Year Warranty for the CDB01.1C-ET-EN2-EN2-NNN-MEM-L2-S-NN-FW drive controller. These driver controllers are not waterproof or suitable for places operating at extreme temperatures. It is advisable to allow the motors to cool down for 140 minutes before switching anything off.
